Could be parents or caretakers when we break something or do something out of the ordinary.
Not always do we get a reciprocation to our fears.

As we grow, we are built in with fear about the supernatural. If we do something which is negative in life, then god will leave and devil will rule us.

The two stages adolescent age and a new born, there is no fear of anything.

A complete man or woman., then take charge of their own life. There is lot of fear in todays world that people live with, and yet enact as though they are the tough ones in life.
But take a cool ride of life, do not bother of any others, till they have to answer someone with POWER/SIZE. SO does size really matter?

What made me write like this today?
There have been many occasions in my professional life, I have noted. People work hard and some people work smart. Purely to impress others with great designations and grades.
In this process they fail to recognize the people with actual potential.

A simple response to emails, would start work on depending on the size and depth of the person who is asking it.
I normally disagree to this.
Every stage of work life there is a factor of fear each of the humans have in a hire and fire policy. The person who puts his/her hand into the clay to mould a beautiful pot alone will know its practical situations rather than the person who stays away doing analysis of it. Such people are in the adolescent phase of work. And they will have absolutely no fear what so ever.

Because they have the craft of work in them and can manage life anytime anywhere. Life is a cycle, and basics of life does not change and are always mundane – like eating, sleeping, cleaning etc.. I keep wondering when one will realize these and ensure to perform their part of life without too many reminders.

Funny Dreamzzzzzzz

For a very long time many researchers are trying to analyze human brain and how it functions. Well, today we have some documentations, while history only left strong beliefs and is even today called tradition and blind faith.

Faith has to be felt, it cannot be explained. I rarely dream, and I ask many questions on my dreams with elders in my family. I used to be surprised with the explanations that was given to me for the dreams I had till date.

I ask where I am clueless about my dreams. I hardly dream, but when I do, I want to know the linkages.

When I am explained, I do question in all combinations. Still behind my head I register every word. And I get zapped for the kind of research that has been already done in the past. People of the olden golden days today in India are taking away the secrets with themselves. I want to understand more, I do not know how much more I can gain knowledge from them.

If you dream of someone dying = you are to hear news of a marriage in the family. One would state this is sheer stupidity, one could say if they have experienced it as – coincidence. But when such things recur – what would you call it? Faith?
It’s hard to explain, but I have had my part of dreams and its explanations.

I started my questioning on dreams, because of a person close to my heart. She gets to dream almost daily. Most of them used to reflect her inner thoughts of either fear or too much of worry about the solutions she is looking forward. I do not question her dreams, I never criticize it, but I analyze it for sure.
Because it reflects the person and their thoughts on such dreams.

Dreams are different, some reflect your inner thought. But some seek explanation of faith, which has no relevance to any inner thoughts either, but appear from nowhere to give us a hint or a message of future. That’s when I turn back to elders for their knowledge. Few of them are good to me in providing explanations and for some I am also given remedy on what needs to be done by having faith in the unknown.

Assumption is the mother of all !!!

In every walk of life there is a tiny bit of assumption all of us make. Have we ever realized if that is has worked towards or against us? Well, assumption is some sort of perception we make before we see the actual end state.

At work, I have seen making assumptions when there is a proposal towards a project plan or anything that is yet to be achieved. This is normally used to ensure there is a backup created depending on certain assumptions towards the final outcome.
At economies to scale, there is lots of assumptions for the financial state of affairs and growth patterns of a country.

In our personal life, we also make assumptions. Unless it is going to be for a positive approach; my suggestion to you is never assume things. Always ask. Get it clarified. There have been few very close people who have given me feedback; on how body language pass on more communication that the words by itself. Similarly, when we assume things (unless you are an Oscar award winner) I guess it shows out on our faces in expressions. Ensure to ask and get clarification before there is gap between any personal relationship.

Happy living is in your hands…. Take care

Men may come and men may go.. This was one of the primary reasons why in early days and in the sacred scripts the girl is given in marriage before her attaining her puberty. Every mantra uttered in hand of giving away a daughter in marriage to a man is in conjunction that the girl is as pure and yet to attain her puberty so that she is a complete virgin. That is the reason there were child marriages. Today’s wedding does not have any relevance to the manthras, except for the sapthapathi because we do not follow the rest of the given tradition of giving away the girl in marriage before her puberty.

Well, so what is expected in a typical Indian family from the woman who is newly wed? She is expected to loose her virginity – of course and next she is expected to always understand and mellow down in all facets of life post her wedding in the new home. All these were possible in the then and golden olden days. So why is it getting very difficult for a lady of this generation?

Very simple, the girl would have been a child and in the stage of getting mould into a fine lady. But today’s marriage happens after a woman sees the world around her; she develops her own personality and stabilizes herself in the society by the time she gets married. Shaping a clay when it is wet is easier than the one which is already set. So in essence, today the lady is also expected to loose her originality as she enters the new home.

Cheers!!! to those women of today who bridge and do not let go herself and yet manage her family in the same roof by understanding the values of the Indian Tradition and Values of life to always compromises her wishes for the family at large.

Travel Kit for babies / toddlers

Every time I take my little one out there are a list of things I ensure to carry. I think not, its only the comfort and luxury that is increasing and along with it complexities. We no longer live a simple life.

Once the girl reaches anywhere closer to her puberty, all she is told is – you got to learn this / learn that only then can you lead a successful marital life. What is taught here – how to behave in society ( in my terms behave in a society of narrow minded set of people, else we need not be taught you see), how to cook, how to manage our traditions (well most of these are to change along with changing times except for a few which are something I believe in) blah.. blah.. blahh – else the parents will be blamed for how the girl is behaved.

Why will they be blamed? I keep asking myself till a day came for me to realize – girls are not expected to have brains, and never should they think nor take decisions (let alone decisions should not even have preferential ways to suggest). Even if they did that is not a preferred, surprisingly even same gender will not prefer as they are all tuned for the man to do the thinking.

Today’s women have little knowledge or strength – physically or mentally than the ones I have seen of the older generations. How sad that they had never been given such opportunity else I am sure we will have many of them way ahead in life.

But looking down below me, I think I am far in a better state of affairs, as it comes out clearly since I am able to post this blog on my own.. taking this I start the day with my heart filled with all positive energy to do my best at my work… gud day to you too.

Terrace my wonderland

Terrace is a place I always prefer, next to the beach. One of the reason its right where we live and its peaceful at nights. The starry and breezy nights are awesome to spend time, the time I used to spend to talk to myself. Silence used to bring so much of mental strength and a path to various achievements in my life.

I have always asked myself questions – why are we on this planet? What is expected out of this life of mine? And many more on these lines. Trying to figure answers to these from within I just used to never get excited for things that many of the souls around me do. It could be a birthday – never ever had I had a enthusiasm to the heights that people around me have.

How I wish I could find that place someday again to bring my running mind to a calm state and to think of what next in life. Disassociate the ME from ME to think straight. When I don’t spend time for myself I don’t feel I am connected to the ultimate supreme.

Mentor

At every stage of our life we have a mentor and as humans we seek out to one. There is no age factor and all one needs to be qualified with is experience or the relevant knowledge for the same.

I am proud to say that my younger sister has also been one, but it’s when she always tells me about my spellings and the uncanny communication I recollect one such mentor of my life.

There were many challenges I faced at work place – one was; my superiors been compared with a shop floor entrant (me) by my super seniors, that I am sure hits their ego.

She called me one day on one of the emails I had circulated to a small group internally, asked me to tell her the reason why I wrote such an email. She patiently listened to it completely and asked me to read the email loudly right on her desk that I had sent. I found that funny and at the same time curious why she wanted me to do it. On reading it I realized that what I intended did not come out on that email as clearly the way I explained to her. I felt pathetic L

She said, you are good in your thought process and she read it again for me but with some pauses in it. And along with it she said your mind is drafting the 3rd 4th and 5th sentence while you are typing the 1st … I was awed by the way I got this feedback.. no one could have ever shared a feedback such .. I still owe her a thanks.

I am still bad in my communication, coz my intentions are not always communicated for the actual perception of my intention J
Confused huh.. that’s meee..

She is an awesome person.. i dedicate this post to all the mentors in my life soon my son will be one J

Connection

Connectivity is the ‘in thing’ today. Telephony and a wide reach of contacts is through forms of connectivity and I guess its flourishing thanks to the feminine gender of our race. The lady talks more than a guy and i feel its true. Could it be true to the findings that women have more word triggering cells on the brain than men? May be. So, if you need to connect with any lady in your life – all you need to do is TALK. Talk and express your views and plans or anything – just talk and they will know you care.

Resolution

<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> Thought of sharing it here and to re-read it when ever possible to keep these points refreshed in our minds.

1. Pray (have faith)
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a Holy Book(e.g.Bhagwat Geeta) with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19 Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Lord .'
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33. Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.

The best I liked - Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

Faith in the Divine

As a child I remember that prayers were to be recited in verses, hymns; sung in a joyous tune. As years passed by, there were more important things that children were asked to concentrate on – competitive studies to become a highly qualified literate.

What are we praying for today? I’ve seen different people praying differently; chanting, singing, meditating, but for an end result, with a motive. It used to be mostly for – I need this… or I wish for that… Very few people pray for others, selfless in nature. Well! Even mothers are selfish; they would concentrate their prayers towards the betterment of their family and children.

I have seen one thing common in these people who believe completely on the Miraculously Divine Power. They pray, pray, and pray for the betterment and personal needs of others and souls around them. They would be able to get visions, voices or even messages via a medium (print or human) of both good and evil that could bring joy or disheartenment; with little or no time for prayers to oneself. Out of the many who seek them for prayers for their own benefit, there are few genuine souls who would keep them in their own small way of good wishes.

Here is one such person, who I have heard all this morning on how her birthday was spent. Family pampering, well wishers and friends calling in across the oceans and giving a warm feeling. I could not imagine taking 70+ calls the entire morning; it gives me a call center feeing. The only difference is that people at work place call for trouble solutions, and here its calling in for wishing. At the end of the day we are all humans, prone to go through all types of sentiments and feelings. And so it’s nice to feel awesome and nostalgic. When we wish good for others it is returned in thousand folds in the most unexpected time of life.

Convenience now a necessity!!

If someone asked you – ‘is a mobile phone important?’, what would you say?

Well, I am not a gadgets person and never had a hand phone for years until a couple of years ago. Today I entered my office premises and realized that I am walking in without my ID card. Also, I realized that it was because I was not carrying my bag. The bag was on its way back home in the chauffeur driven two wheeler’s box.

I realized I had to call certain important people who would try to reach me and inform them that my phone and all items, much more expensive stuff are all not with me. During this conversation, I realized that a mobile phone is such an important gadget in people’s lives; even so we are oblivious to the fact that it’s only a piece of gadget. It has become a part of all our lives; Oh well! At least in my perspective there were more important things to worry about; because anyone can reach me at my desk phone.

So, what could be much more important in this juncture according to me – well it’s obviously my purse in my bag. Again, it’s not the plastics in the purse that is important, but few papers which are the medium of exchange for my transportation back home. The last thing I would want is to beg and borrow from workplace L which was unfortunately the last resort.

Signing off now; Leaving you thinking - can you still live without a mobile phone?

Good Morning To All From, India

Early morning life is always enticing and never leaves you disappointed. I had a discussion with my mom; a lengthy one on why early morning is treated as best for humans. Our discussion started right from how the mind is open in the early mornings to why there is a Suriya Namaskaram in the Hindu culture. Here is something I understood in terms which is neither technical nor philosophical:

Suriya Namaskaram is a science of Sun worship. Life in early centuries of man did not have any documentation. And any form of worship was way of life shown to the world at large.

Reason why I call Suriya Namaskaram as science;

There are many vitamin tablets available in the market to supplement the body if you loose out. But have you ever heard of Vitamin D tablet in any drug store? Have you ever heard any fruit or vegetable intake which contains vitamin D?

The sun rays are supposed to supplement us with vitamin D.

We also know that sun rays are harmful to health, such as skin cancer, sun burns or radiation.. Thus the best part of the day for us to have the sun rays to hit our body is early morning, mild and yet very effective. Vitamin D for the body is received from the sun rays prior to <st1:time minute="0" hour="9">8am</st1:time>.

Namaskaram is a part of every worship ritual in the Hindu mythology. Namaskaram itself is an exercise to keep the body fit and fine. The Suriya Namaskaram is of complex in nature, contains 12 postures or asanas (exercises/yoga). The body is fully exposed to the Sun’s rays with bare minimum clothing to absorb the Vitamins emitted by the rays.

Also, this namaskaram generally is done near a lake, pond or river. Just before the ritual of Suriya namaskaram, the person takes a holy dip into the water. Now, lets understand the science behind the holy dip. The bath taken before the namaskaram has a valid reason. The suns rays are very harmful and the water dribbling down the body and on the cloth worn will help filter the infrared rays.

Every namaskaram done as per the Hindu mythology is an exercise for both men and women, to reduce the ego level in every individual.
