Faith in the Divine

As a child I remember that prayers were to be recited in verses, hymns; sung in a joyous tune. As years passed by, there were more important things that children were asked to concentrate on – competitive studies to become a highly qualified literate. What are we praying for today? I’ve seen different people praying differently; chanting, singing, meditating, but for an end result, with a motive. It used to be mostly for – I need this… or I wish for that… Very few people pray for others, selfless in nature. Well! Even mothers are selfish; they would concentrate their prayers towards the betterment of their family and children. I have seen one thing common in these people who believe completely on the Miraculously Divine Power. They pray, pray, and pray for the betterment and personal needs of others and souls around them.
